The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Widening footpaths as they are overgrown in the village

4. To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations - Ref: 24/29

5. To approve the draft minutes of the Council meeting held on 20th May 2024 - Ref: 24/30
It was resolved to approve the minutes as a true record. Proposed Cllr J Trafford. Seconded Cllr K Fox. All in favour
6. Clerk’s report on correspondence received - Ref: 24/31
Cheque repaid by Bell’s Almshouses paid in error
7. Planning matters - Ref: 24/32
i. Application no. 148000 - Proposal: Planning application for the part demolition and conversion of a nursing home to create 5no. Self-contained dwellings with associated new build garage facilities, parking & private access road. - Hill House Nursing Home, Sand Lane, Osgodby

8. Finance Report - Ref: 24/33
It was resolved to approve as a true record. Proposed Cllr J Trafford. Seconded Cllr K Fox. All in favour
i. Schedule of payments - Ref: 24/34
It was resolved to approve the payments of £1,218.87 previously sent to Cllrs. Proposed Cllr J Trafford. Seconded Cllr K Fox. All in favour.
9. Speed device report - Ref: 24/35
Cllr K Fox read out the report. The next report is to be December 2024. It was discussed to move the speed device from the War Memorial to nearer the school. Cllrs were to look at the location to with a view to contacting The Road Safety Partnership.
10. Extension to cemetery - Ref: 24/36
It was discussed as to how much land would be required to be purchased. Measurements of the current cemetery were to be made by Cllrs as to future needs for the next meeting.
11. Broadband gigabit - Ref: 24/37
The role out is progressing and residents are being informed.
12. Parish Pump - Ref: 24/38
The Council would like to thank Michaela Heavens for all her hard work and dedication for producing the Parish Pump over the years but she can no longer dedicate her time. The next edition is due Sept/Oct 2024.
Resolved: The Clerk to put on Facebook to ask for a volunteer and also volunteers to deliver the leaflet.
13. Sand Lane, Osgodby - Culvert - Ref: 24/39
Cllr S Bunney had reported that this was ongoing and that the ditches on either side of the road needed to be cleared out.
14. Police - Parish Council Engagement Session 16th July 2024 - Ref: 24/40

15. WLDC - Code of conduct and Standards training session - Ref: 24/41
